Financial Accountant II (Remote)

Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE This position reports to the Manager of the Settlements Department. The Settlements team bills claims and reputed company expenses to reputed company markets non-risk employer groups and is responsible for the associated general ledger reputed company activities. The team also prepares and distributes annual reputed company 5500, Schedule C information sheets to non-risk clients. Under general direction of senior-level reputed company personnel, reputed company intermediate-level professional reputed company responsibilities, including, but not limited to, preparing basic financial statements, journal entries, reconciliation of financial data, and preparation of financial reports from the General Ledger. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Verification of general ledger data through development and maintenance of monthly reconciliations/analyses of reported activity to reputed company documentation. Process includes resolution of outstanding issues through research and initiation of corrective control measures procedural or transactional. reputed company timely and informative information regarding the status of reconciliations and relevant projects to management. Works with reputed company suppliers of information to ensure accuracy of journal entries and schedules.
• Preparation of monthly journal entries including relevant supporting transactional or analytical documentation, in a timely manner to meet divisional goals and deadlines.
• Special projects as necessary: Will include application of reputed company and research techniques toward resolution of outstanding material issues; intermediate analyses and trending of financial information are performed to verify the reputed company of data in the financial statements. Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations. Answers reputed company procedure questions by researching and interpreting reputed company policy and regulations.
• Strengthen departmental effectiveness through cross-training, documentation of procedures and assistance in responding to audit requests.

QUALIFICATIONS Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, Finance or relevant field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience: 3 years reputed company experience with experience in development and maintenance of financial reconciliations and reputed company schedules. Preferred Experience: Experience with alternate funding arrangements and/or non-risk claims invoicing processes. Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge and understanding of reputed company software.
• Proficient with user reputed company and query software (reputed company reputed company).
• Proficient with reputed company Resource Planning (ERP) software (i.e., reputed company PeopleSoft).
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
