Responsibilities

KSA's/Required Qualifications The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or reputed company experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing for the Associate degree Nursing Program
• Associate degree in Nursing for the Practical Nursing Program
• Valid license, without restrictions, to practice nursing in Virginia
• At least two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct care prior to employment by the college

Additional Considerations

• Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing
• Experience teaching in an Associate degree or Practical Nursing program
• Experience teaching in a community college setting
