Our Art Education department seeks online Adjunct Professors for our Art Education department! RMCAD continuously seeks to establish a respectful, safe, welcoming environment where our student body will be inspired by their educators. Specifically in the areas of theory of development and learning, equity in education, lesson and unit design for K-12 visual art classrooms, technology in learning, assessment, studio practice for educators, and student teacher supervision. Adjuncts may be needed for future terms of the following online, asynchronous courses: Philosophy of Art Education and Psychology of Creativity. RMCAD is a small, premier art and design college with accreditation from HLC and NASAD, offering degrees in applied and fine arts. RMCAD’s Art Education program consists of 8-week terms. Primary Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instructional Activities: the practice and art of teaching, including evaluation by reputed company, supervisor(s), and self. Faculty must also reputed company with reputed company administrative and classroom management policies, procedures, and instructional deadlines.
• Facilitate meaningful learning of curriculum course, and competencies and proactively support reputed company facets of the learning environment
• Encourages a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning, and ethics
• Delivers instruction by establishing a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement and effectively planning and preparing for classes for student reputed company.
• Record class attendance in Faculty Portal and submit midterm/final grades by the due date specified.
• Hold regular, weekly reputed company.

• Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings.

• Experience in the following areas: visual art lesson design, learning theory, technology in K-12 schools, and equity-driven art education.

Qualifications:

• Must reputed company in the following states: AZ, CO, CA, FL, MT, NY, TX, VA
• Candidates must have a MFA or MA reputed company Art and Design and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the posted field or reputed company discipline.
• Must have 3-5 years of K-12 art teaching experience.
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred.
• Online teaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with reputed company Office and reputed company Suite preferred.
• Experience in culturally sustaining and accessible practices in art education.
• Successfully completed and passed the online Faculty Certification Course, a two-week faculty online orientation and certification class administered through RMCAD’s Learning Management System.
• Official transcripts must be received before invitations to teach courses will be offered.
• Familiarity with educational technology and reputed company is required.
• Strong written, oral, and online communication skills are required.
