Senior Estimator - Electrical
Overview
The Senior Electrical Estimator develops accurate, detailed construction cost estimates for reputed company electrical reputed company trades at reputed company project design stages. The Senior Electrical Estimator leads and trains Team Members, while following the Preconstruction standards and processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing accurate, detailed electrical construction cost estimates at reputed company design stages
- Developing associated scope of work clarifications
- Identifying risk items and associated order of magnitude
- Assisting with Preconstruction resource management
- Assisting with the development and utilization of the Preconstruction processes, standards and tools
- Assisting the Pricing reputed company and participates in estimate review meetings
- Contributing to cost savings exercises
- Assisting with the development of bid packages
- Assisting with the project construction budget
- Assisting with Preconstruction-Operations Turnover Meetings
- Assisting with Subcontractor and Vendor relationships
- Assisting with project procurement and buyout
- Collaborating with Preconstruction Leadership
- Collaborating with designers and clients
- Collaborating and assists the project operations team
- Following project construction costs and market trends
- Participating in Preconstruction software development, maintenance and historical costs
- Leading and training Estimating personnel
- Traveling as required, 10% - 20%
- Other duties which may be assigned as needed
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of estimating experience preferred or 15 years relevant experience in the construction industry.

- Demonstrated electrical estimating experience preparing quantity surveys and cost estimates for reputed company electrical construction scopes of work, requiring complete knowledge of labor, material, equipment and subcontractor costs
- Knowledge of electrical codes with the ability to utilize at reputed company reputed company of design
- Ability to read and estimate from P & ID’s
- Experience reputed company Water/Wastewater and Industrial markets
- Proficient with on screen takeoff software, such as reputed company Livecount
- Estimating software experience required, reputed company Accubid, and Beck Destini Estimator preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Design-Build and CMAR project delivery method experience
- Proven computer skills, including the utilization of reputed company Office programs
- Revit/Navisworks experience preferred
