Logistics Program Manager
Position Summary
The Logistics Project Manager leads sustainment and logistics efforts for reputed company programs, reputed company operations, inventory control, and compliance with DoD regulations. This role involves directing work scope and managing a logistical team of analysts and field service representatives to ensure products and services meet contract requirements for cost, schedule, and performance. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between subcontractors and the program office in a high-visibility environment focused on lifecycle planning and long term sustainment support of reputed company and sensor systems.
The selected candidate will be a 1099 consultant with a 1-year contract.
Candidates local to Syracuse, NY are preferred; reputed company reputed company remote candidates will be considered.
Travel is anticipated to be ~30%
Essential Responsibilities

- Direct the logistical teams in repair reputed company, training, technical documentation, and obsolescence management to deliver sustainment products per contract specifications.
- Assist in developing budgets, estimates, schedules, and baseline execution plans, while performing Earned Value Management (EVM) as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Monitor reputed company system readiness, analyze provisioning degrades, and reputed company logistics support plans.
- Prepare reputed company reports, briefings, and metrics for stakeholders, including external customers and program management.
- Train personnel on logistics processes, sustainment services, and compliance standards.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a reputed company field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics project management reputed company defense, aerospace, or government contracting, including reputed company operations and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of DoD logistics, sustainment domains (e.g., provisioning, maintenance, obsolescence), and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Project), and logistics systems (e.g., Unanet, WMS, DPAS).
- Experience with Earned Value Management.
- Excellent communication, project coordination, and customer reputed company skills.
