Job Summary

The Department of Health Sciences in the School of Health & reputed company Sciences, reputed company Indianapolis, invites applications for a 10-month faculty position beginning August 1, 2024. This is a one-year, annually renewable appointment. As a Lecturer in Health Sciences, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor undergraduate reputed company in both face-to-face and online courses reputed company the health sciences curriculum. You will also participate in and assist with the IU Indianapolis reputed company week and First Year Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 4 courses per semester (fall/spring) in the health sciences curriculum
• Contribute to student reputed company through reputed company, first-year seminars, and introductory health sciences courses
• Cultivate best teaching practices through engagement and discussion with the scholarship of teaching and learning
• Mentor reputed company and reputed company professional, university, and community service
• Participate in departmental, school, and reputed company service

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Health or Rehabilitation Sciences or complementary disciplines, including but not limited to wellness, gerontology, sociology, behavioral medicine, health education, or nursing
• Demonstrated potential for reputed company in teaching
• Experience in college classroom teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Terminal degree in Health Sciences or reputed company field
• Experience teaching online and in-person classes
• Student advising experience
