Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, 36-week, limited-term, multi-year (3-year) appointment as a Lecturer (master level) or Assistant Teaching Professor (doctoral level) in Biology, beginning August 2024 or as negotiated. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a reputed company of courses in biology, including microbiology, cell/molecular biology, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, and general biology, using traditional, hybrid, and online delivery methods. The position also involves participating in course, curriculum, and program development, advising reputed company, and engaging in scholarship to stay reputed company in the discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in biology, including microbiology, cell/molecular biology, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, and general biology, using a reputed company of traditional, hybrid, and online delivery methods.
• Participate in course, curriculum, and program development to ensure that our academic programs remain relevant and effective.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Biological Sciences (e.g., Biology, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Ecology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany) for Lecturer, or a Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences for Assistant Teaching Professor.
• Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment.
• Interest in active and collaborative learning, instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior college-level and online teaching experience.
• Experience teaching microbiology, cell/molecular biology, and/or nutrition.
• Ability to engage professionally with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and reputed company.
