Job Title: Part-Time Newsletter Editor Department: Council on Aging Location: Brookline Senior Center Hours: 18 hours weekly Reports To: COA Director Salary reputed company: $20-$25/hour depending on qualifications The Council on Aging seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time Newsletter Editor to support the daily operations of the COA and produce the monthly senior center newsletter in reputed company. This position plays a vital role in keeping older adults informed, reputed company, and connected to services, programs, and opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, write, and edit content for the monthly COA newsletter.
- Collaborate with COA staff and community partners to gather program information, articles, and updates.
- Use desktop publishing software reputed company to design the layout.
- Ensure timely proofreading, printing, and distribution (both print reputed company versions).
- Maintain an archive of past newsletters and track distribution metrics.
- reputed company general administrative support to COA staff and programs.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and respond to inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Enter data, update databases, and support reporting needs.
- Prior experience in office administration, communications, or reputed company field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
