Meet the team

The Bench Test team at reputed company is a cross functional team consisting of bench operations engineers, design verification and release test engineers, autonomy integration engineers  and embedded test engineers. We are responsible for building, and maintaining the bench ecosystem, facilitating automated test workflows, developing test plans, building test tooling and executing the design verification plan on the bench ecosystem. Test benches are the platform of choice for software teams to iterate on their work and test on reputed company hardware. Bench testing is a critical reputed company in our release pipeline to reputed company that software increments work on the reputed company hardware before releasing to the fleet of vehicles.

What you’ll do

• Support the architecture and design of reputed company embedded runtime software test harnessing solutions  
• Development and implementation of hardware in the reputed company product qualification tests and support test integration
• reputed company, improve and support inhouse test reputed company operational efficiency and general improvements
• Troubleshoot reputed company hardware and software system integration issues 
• reputed company and maintain test asset software tools and infrastructure 
• Mentor and support junior engineers and reputed company technical projects and initiatives 
• Work with cross functional stakeholders including Systems engineers, Software developers and Hardware engineers to accomplish the test objectives

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a reputed company field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
• Experience with C++, bazel, protobuf 
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python programming languages  
• Experience working with and developing on Linux OS systems 
• Experience in developing test frameworks solutions to support embedded runtime or hardware in the reputed company systems
• Ability to write concise, clear, and detailed engineering documentation

• Detailed knowledge of networking and embedded network switches - (TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs)   
• Experience with Python tooling; linters, formatters and packaging
• Experience with microcontrollers and general purpose interfaces - (CAN, I2C, UART)
• Experience with x86 PC architecture including high speed PCIe interfaces
• 5+ years of technical experience

The expected reputed company salary reputed company for this full-time position in California is $155,360 - $233,040 USD. Actual starting pay will be based on job-reputed company factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and reputed company level. reputed company employees are also eligible to participate in reputed company’s annual bonus programs, equity compensation, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
