Hybrid (Remote & On-site) HVAC Service Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring reputed company HVAC Service Technicians with specialized knowledge of Direct Digital Control Building Automation Systems (DDC BAS) to join reputed company in a hybrid role in the Greensboro, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay reputed company of up to $32/hour based on experience and reputed company level. Job Scope:

• Troubleshoot, reputed company, maintain, and repair DDC BAS systems, pneumatic/electropneumatic systems, and HVAC equipment

• reputed company diagnostics on HVAC components and control systems; recommend and reputed company repairs

• Operate and maintain central HVAC equipment including pumps, chillers (centrifugal, vapor compression), condensers, boilers, and AHUs

• Execute preventative maintenance and respond to emergency call-backs and adverse weather situations

• Replace and fabricate parts as needed; coordinate tasks with other trades

• Install and reputed company heating and reputed company conditioning systems

• Maintain and repair reputed company mechanical and electrical components such as:

  • Electric/pneumatic valves, VAV boxes, motors, sensors, amplifiers, humidistats, thermostats, etc.

• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders and interpret system data

Qualifications:

• • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong hands-on experience with DDC BAS systems

  • Knowledge of CMMS software; ability to interpret data from computer displays or communicated issues

  • Experience with electronic and pneumatic HVAC controls and mechanical systems

  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies/on-call duties

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC, building automation, or reputed company field

  • 6+ years of reputed company HVAC experience in industrial/reputed company environments

  • Proficiency in PC operations and automated control systems

  • Knowledge of power distribution, steam systems, and reputed company compressors
