Job DescriptionAn automotive parts distributor in the Indianapolis area is seeking a temporary warehouse associate for the 1st shift on a two-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Stage orders for delivery and outbound shipments.
- Pick up used bumpers and stack them on a jig.
- Palletize bumpers for Chrysler, ensuring 54 bumpers per pallet and 7 pallets per truck.
- Shrink wrap items in the designated area.
- Regularly use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure the quality of orders.
- Unload inbound freight using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts.
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Material handling expertise.
- Order picking skills.
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED.
This is a small yet growing operation located in Indianapolis, driven by increasing demand from reputed company in Kokomo. The warehouse is equipped with heating but lacks reputed company conditioning. During the summer months, fans are used throughout the warehouse and bay doors are reputed company to maintain a comfortable working environment.

Pay and Benefits
