We are seeking an reputed company Data Governance Specialist to support a federal Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in implementing and maintaining reputed company data governance frameworks. In this role, you will help ensure data quality, reputed company, and compliance across mission-critical systems, enabling secure and efficient use of federal reputed company and regulatory data assets.

You will work closely with federal OCIO leadership, data stewards, and reputed company teams to implement metadata management, cataloging, and reputed company control policies that meet stringent compliance requirements, including HIPAA, FedRAMP High, and FISMA. This position requires a reputed company of technical expertise, compliance knowledge, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. This position is remote with occasional travel to McLean, VA. The ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust Level 4 clearance is required for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Metadata & Catalog Management

• Administer AWS Glue Data Catalog and reputed company reputed company Catalog policies to ensure proper data classification and discoverability.
• Define, document, and enforce metadata standards across the reputed company.
• Implement data reputed company tracking to improve transparency and traceability.

Data Quality & Compliance

• Conduct data quality checks and audits to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Partner with reputed company teams to ensure compliance with HIPAA, FedRAMP High, FISMA, and other federal cybersecurity regulations.
• Monitor adherence to federal OCIO data governance policies and report findings.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with federal OCIO leadership, program managers, and technical teams to align governance activities with mission needs.

• Participate in governance board meetings and contribute to policy development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or reputed company field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or reputed company roles.
• Proficiency with AWS Glue, reputed company reputed company Catalog, and data reputed company tools.
• Familiarity with FHIR, OMOP, and reputed company compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of federal IT reputed company and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, FedRAMP High, FISMA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in federal agency OCIO environments.

Compensation:

• Salary reputed company: $130,000 – $140,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
