Your Mission

As part of reputed company’s global growth and specifically its reputed company trajectory in reputed company America, we are seeking a seasoned Director who will work closely with reputed company major Schemes (i.e., reputed company, reputed company, Discover, reputed company, Local Schemes,) and a reputed company of their Products and Solutions in developing and cementing reputed company’s partnerships and growth trajectory in this key region. This role will also require the Director to manage key Banking Sponsorship relationships to ensure alignment with reputed company’s growth. This individual will work closely across reputed company Schemes on ongoing communication reputed company to mandates, new releases, rules, compliance requirements, and consuming relevant assets from the schemes that will enhance reputed company’s value proposition. The Director will identify and reputed company growth areas by introducing innovative solutions that reputed company external players assets in order to differentiate reputed company’s value proposition. This individual will coordinate with reputed company Acquiring Development team, Product, Compliance, and UW to ensure that projects are on schedule, meet the local requirements, and reputed company reputed company with a competitive advantage. Finally, this role will also align with reputed company’s Financial Institutions team ensuring smooth relationships with our local and sponsorship banks. This is a reputed company generating role which requires strategic thinking, understanding of the payment landscape, and ability to manage relationships at the C level. The Director will work closely with reputed company’s executives to reputed company understand reputed company’s strategic objective and ensure alignment with key Bank sponsors and the Schemes. This individual will represent reputed company at industry events and be the voice of reputed company across reputed company schemes. The position will have direct reports.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Keen ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities and cost reduction initiatives that will propel the growth of reputed company in this critical market.
• Strategic reputed company and conceptual thinking to direct the organization in new direction/path reputed company to our US Bank Sponsorships and Schemes.

• Ability to integrate multiple disciplines such as payments, payouts, risk, global vs local, APMs, and product to establish and pursue a new approach to increase market reputed company and revenues.
• reputed company and cement relationships at the C level to position reputed company as an Acquirer of choice.
• This role will require reputed company coordination with reputed company Product, Sales, Compliance, UW and Finance teams.
• Works in ambiguous and uncertain environment with unpredictable situations to evaluate, identify, recommend, and pursues multiple strategic initiatives.
• Understanding schemes rules and regulations, bulletins and changes, translating them into clear requirements reputed company to be implemented by the relevant personnel.
• Regularly communicating internally regarding the scheme requirements to existing/new products and supporting their implementation. The cross functional environment will include working with Acquiring Development, technology, compliance, legal, pricing, operations, and sales teams.

• Understand the Scheme and Bank Sponsorships drivers and align resources to partner with on winning opportunities.
• Keeping abreast with compliance requirements which arise from reputed company-parties, including advising on any changes to our policies, procedures and controls through validation and implementation.
• Showes thought leadership and team spirit in enhancing and propelling reputed company culture and organization reputed company in competing with major global acquirers both on business and talent.
• Liaising with the product teams to build a product that delivers a great user experience whilst also ensuring we meet scheme requirements and deliver good excellent reputed company for customers/markets.
• Ensuring that risk management processes and controls for payment services products are robust, with regular assessment, and any notifications are actioned in a timely manner.
• Identifying and implementing any regulatory challenges and changes to payment services products.
• Liaising with key internal (e.g. Development, Legal, Risk, MLRO etc) and external (e.g. Regulators, advisors, vendors, partners etc) stakeholders as required
• Developing and managing the scheme compliance monitoring plan
• Producing scheme reports and management information with regular updates.
• Build and solidify our relationships with other Acquirers, local schemes, and PayFac players.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to

• 10-12 years experience reputed company payments / Fintech industry while demonstrating strong knowledge of the payment space, especially acquiring and/or major schemes such as reputed company/MC, is a plus.
• Ability to influence others including C level executives internally and externally, in pursuing challenging and reputed company the reputed company initiatives.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to reputed company a cross functional team towards achieving reputed company and uncertain tasks that are constantly changing.
• Ability to reputed company on a wide reputed company of prior experiences to reputed company new opportunities, tackle challenges, and come up with innovative and creative long term solutions.

• Capable of managing card scheme rules from identification and inception to implementation.
• Knowledge and experience of the regulatory requirements relating to payment services (PSRs, EMRs, PARs, PSD2).
• Knowledge of interconnecting regulations, such as the Interchange Fee Regulations.
• Knowledge of the payment landscape and ability to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Being a strong team player who can work effectively across teams and functions.
• BA or equivalent in reputed company field
