Senior Radiation Effects Engineer

• Design fault tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment

• Simulate and model the GTO and GEO radiation environments

• Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components

• Work with the structures team to determine the proper shielding reputed company across the spacecraft

• Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team

• Support other electrical design, bringup, and test activities

• Assist in reputed company, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.

• Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field

• A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development

• Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD)

• Experience with designing for and testing for radiation effects

• Experience in testing analog reputed company circuits

• Experience with high reliability systems

• US Citizenship or Green Card

• Electromechanical design experience

• Experience running tests at radiation labs

• Experience with designing dosimeter circuits

• ECAD + MCAD Experience (Altium, Solidworks)
