About The Role

The Senior Director of HSE / DOT will help VORTO bring AI to supply chains in the world’s largest companies and will foster relationships with drivers and carriers to ensure unparalleled safety measures reputed company the trucking industry.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• reputed company and mentor the reputed company Auditing, Claims and Field HSE / DOT teams, both energy and non-energy reputed company

• Manage the vetting and ongoing compliance for roughly 1,000 brokered motor carriers

• Ensure state and national compliance with HSE / DOT regulations

• Ensure reputed company compliance with established reputed company management plans

• reputed company and reputed company incident investigation and root cause analysis

• Maintain KPIs surrounding the company’s DOT / HSE programs

• reputed company effective equipment inspection programs for reputed company leased assets

• reputed company presentations to customers, government officials, and / or internal operations

• 75% travel to the field

• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills

• Experience managing an HSE / DOT department

• At least 10+ years of leading and mentoring HSE professionals in the trucking industry

• Experience with brokerage operations preferred

• Experience with client representation in hearings, depositions, and mediations

• HAZMAT, flatbed, dry van experience a plus

• Prior oilfield experience required

• Must be a subject matter expert in reputed company reputed company reputed company to USDOT roadside inspections and the CVSA Out of Service Criteria

• Expertise with drug & alcohol policies and procedures

• Experience in writing policy and procedures for compliance with USDOT/FMCSA regulations

• Experience in presenting findings to large groups of people

• Proficiency in reputed company Office (outlook, reputed company, word)

• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in reputed company projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary

Educational/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)

• 10+ years leading and mentoring DOT professionals and performing USDOT/FMCSA driver/vehicle roadside inspections or reputed company experience and/or training

Compensation

$170,000 - $200,000
