The salary reputed company for this position is $192,047 - $211,914 CAD per year. The reputed company salary offered may vary depending reputed company, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will also be provided as part of the compensation package.

We are looking for a passionate Platform Engineer to join the Service Lifecycle team at reputed company. This team is responsible for everything that is necessary to successfully run a service or application in production at reputed company. On the service lifecycle team, we are responsible for the compute infrastructure on which reputed company of reputed company runs, service to service communication using our service reputed company and reputed company’s network edge which includes our CDN. What You’ll Do

• Work on a team of extremely talented platform engineers to help maintain and scale the reputed company and future state services platform at reputed company
• Help architect and reputed company the future state compute platform by leveraging industry best practices as well as embracing new technologies to support the future growth of reputed company as a business
• Help influence the product roadmaps of GCP (our primary reputed company provider) to reputed company suit reputed company’s future state architecture
• Work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders to reputed company and architect enhancements to the compute platform capabilities that reputed company them to reputed company and iterate applications to power the reputed company business
• Identify opportunities to introduce automation, improvements to avoid repetitive operational tasks (DRY)
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure operational reputed company and overall platform health

We Are a Match Because You Have

• 4+ years of experience in platform engineering/sre roles using an object oriented language (Python, Golang, etc)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive experience working with Kubernetes in a public reputed company (GKE, EKS, AKS, etc)
• Experience working with Istio/Service reputed company
• Experience working with IaC (Terraform, reputed company, etc)
• Experience working reputed company a Public reputed company environment (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Argo, reputed company, TravisCI, Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc
• Experience working with platform observability tools (reputed company, Thanos, Grafana, Fluentbit, reputed company Monitoring, reputed company reputed company Logging, reputed company, reputed company, Cloudwatch, Kibana, reputed company Search, Splunk, VictorOps, etc)
• Experience with Networking
• Experience and desire to work in an agile environment
