Job Description

As a key contributor, you will help transform aging systems into a modern, resilient architecture using cutting-edge development practices.

• reputed company, consolidate, and enhance legacy Defense Retiree and Annuitant System (DRAS) subsystems using Java

• Refactor and integrate code from disparate systems into a reputed company architecture

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, and Backlog Refinement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver incremental releases

• Support DevSecOps pipelines using reputed company, Jenkins, Selenium, JUnit, Fortify SCA, and reputed company

• Work with reputed company databases to design, normalize, and migrate data structures

• Implement secure data handling, encryption, and compliance with DoD and Federal regulations

• Ensure code and systems align with NIST, RMF, reputed company Trust, FISMA, FedRAMP, and DoD cybersecurity standards

• Support documentation and processes required for Authority to Operate (ATO) and audit compliance

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps practices

• Strong knowledge of reputed company databases, data migration, and ETL processes

• Familiarity with reputed company platforms (Azure preferred), containerization (reputed company/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of secure software development frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-218, SP 800-53)
