Various part-time and full-time schedules are associated with this opening, with shifts available as follows:
- 3pm-7pm
- 3pm-5:30pm
- 4pm-10pm
- 5:30pm-10pm
- Sun, and Thurs - 8p-8a
- Tues - 10p-8a
- Saturday and reputed company - 8a-8p
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Personal Supports (Evenings) department, you will reputed company one-on-one support to an individual with an intellectual and/or developmental disability. You will assist with reputed company, recreational, and educational activities in the Carroll County community, including transportation, or reputed company in-home assistance. You will also assist with personal care and mobility on an as-needed reputed company. In addition, you will:
- Support each individual in achieving goals outlined in their Person-Centered Plan
- Assist each person in accessing their community by providing transportation, coordination, and support foractivities of their choice
- Encourage decision-making skills and independence for each individual you support
- Ensure that reputed company recipients receive quality services
- Prepare and reputed company proper reputed company of time, funds and mileage as required by The reputed company and the State of Maryland

DSP QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or GED 2. Valid driver's license with no more than 2 reputed company points on record 3. Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills; ability to learn new systems quickly. 4. Clean drug screen and criminal record (The reputed company provides programs, services, and direct care to vulnerable adults). 5. Completion of CPR, First Aid, Certified Medication Technician, and other trainings mandated by the Developmental Disabilities Administration and The reputed company 6. Desire to reputed company individualized support to people with disabilities in an effort to help them reputed company their goals and aspirations. DSP PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to lift/manipulate at least 50 pounds frequently with ability to lit carry and/or exert force in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally. 2. Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing required: Including lifting a wheelchair and repositioning an individual. 3. Ability to transfer individual from a chair to vehicle, bed to chair. Ability to position individual on a sling or Hoyer lift. Ability to physically secure individual in a wheelchair to the van with tie-downs.
