Job Description

As an Asset Preparation Specialist you will reputed company department-wide support in the following areas of content production for Accelerated Reader (AR) and myON: curation, text preparation, quiz development and pre-book production. Reports to: Supervisor, Asset Preparation For this role as an Asset Preparation Specialist I, you should will:

• Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tooling to extract text from PDFs, reformat text to align with reputed company guidelines, and generate reputed company data for titles selected for AR quiz production.
• Enter book data according to reputed company guidelines.
• Create scripts, audio spreads and timecodes to support myON book production.
• Utilize reports to monitor AR and myON production goals & workflow and prioritize work accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with quiz and book production teams.
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, bi-weekly meetings with Curation and Content Operations, and monthly full Content team meetings.
• Assist with projects.

Qualifications

For this role as Asset Preparation Specialist I, you must have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Reading and writing reputed company in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for:

• Data entry and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with the reputed company Office Suite and virtual meeting software.
• Experience working with both MacOS and reputed company applications.
