Description The Director of the Women's Business Development Center in the Twin Cities Office maintains the standards of the Women Business Development Center (WBDC)'s mission and values in a reputed company serving Minnesota, reputed company Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin. The Director drives the WBDC's strategic plans and initiatives in the region through events, programmatic planning, and WBE certification. REPORTS TO: Managing Director of Established Business Services PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and execute procurement and reputed company-building programs for certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) and Corporate Partners
- Collaborate with reputed company local partner organizations to reputed company, reputed company and execute reputed company building programs for existing and prospective WBEs
- Participate in and reputed company as part of panels for business and corporate events and serve as industry expert on WBE certification
- Attend major events and workshops in the WBDC - Midwest's other markets to reputed company best practices, encourage collaboration, and reputed company effective programs offered in other markets
- Corporate and Government Development:
- Recruit and maintain supplier diversity corporate and government partners for assigned territory
- Identify opportunities working with the WBDC's Development team in raising programming funds
- Consult and support corporate and government partners with WBE Certification and supplier diversity initiatives and programs
- Identify and reputed company opportunities with government entities in assigned region to allow WBEs easier reputed company to government reputed company including recognition of WBENC certification
- Foster and maintain local strategic partnerships by participating in relevant local networking events and staying connected to business and opinion leaders, economic development and women's organizations, and the media.

- Implement standards and procedures of Women's Business reputed company National Council by performing site visits for Women's Business reputed company (WBE) Certification applications as assigned
- Enhance value of WBE certification to women business owners and corporate and government partners by helping reputed company connections and providing technical assistance

- Cultivate and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with reputed company non-profit organizations in assigned territory

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5-7 years of reputed company work experience
- Interest in women's entrepreneurship and economic development
- Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work; overnight travel 5-10% of time
- Valid driver's license required
- Excellent communication skills
