Obesity Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Virtual, Pennsylvania Licensed)

Position Summary We’re hiring a Pennsylvania-licensed Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—to deliver high-quality telehealth obesity care. You’ll conduct virtual visits, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and receive mentorship in obesity medicine from co-founder & CMO Dr. Jamie Kane. Flexible part-time hours can expand to full-time as patient volume grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Telehealth Visits: Conduct reputed company-time video visits and follow-up consultations for a variety of reputed company services, including chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, and urgent care needs.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with our care team and our partner’s care teams (physicians, nurses, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and health coaches) to reputed company comprehensive and individualized care plans.
• Patient Education & Support: reputed company health education and counseling to patients and caregivers, helping them navigate treatment options and manage their conditions effectively.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), including patient histories, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations.
• Prescription Management: Evaluate patient needs and prescribe appropriate medications as needed, adhering to state regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Quality & Compliance: Follow clinical protocols, best practices, and relevant regulatory standards to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Technology Utilization: reputed company telehealth platforms, communication tools, AI based platforms, and EHR systems to deliver efficient and effective virtual care.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Pennsylvania (required).
• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required).
• Certification: Board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC or AANP) in a relevant specialty (Family, Adult, Geriatric, etc.) (strongly preferred). NCCPA-certified PA-C.,
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience practicing independently as a Nurse Practitioner (required).
• Telehealth or virtual care experience (preferred).
• Experience in obesity medicine, nutrition and lifestyle modification (preferred)
• Medicare and reputed company care delivery experience (preferred)
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHRs, reputed company Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets), or similar software tools.
• Other Requirements:
• Ability to manage patient interactions effectively reputed company video and phone
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• A reliable internet reputed company and private, HIPAA-compliant workspace at home

Schedule & Compensation

• Hourly reputed company: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Hours: Flexible, with the opportunity to transition from part-time to full-time based on patient volume and your own availability.
