As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation network, providing exceptional support to our drivers, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Overnight Logistics Dispatcher will process messages and phone calls from drivers, send load and customer information, and ensure drivers are aware of their reputed company plan and pre-plans for the future. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Functions:

• reputed company drivers and process inbound messages reputed company the In-Cab Messaging System and phone calls
• Send load plans, customer information, reputed company suggestions, local directions, and fuel solutions in a timely manner
• Update ETA's and PTA's to ensure accuracy
• Notify day-shift of any changes to pre-plans or load plans
• Plan drivers and set up rescues as needed
• Participate in company-wide training to improve self-learning and maintain a positive team environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in dispatching preferred
• Experience with transportation, computer systems, satellite systems, and Innovative software beneficial
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and sit for long periods
