Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Technician to join reputed company at A Associates. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of reputed company servers, cabling infrastructure, and other data center equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure reputed company servers and cabling infrastructure
• reputed company hardware break/fix replacement of Field Replaceable Units (FRUs)
• reputed company installation, including placing racks, cabling, powering up, and handing off servers to internal provisioning teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve Telco Availability issues
• Investigate and replace Network reputed company hardware
• Communicate effectively reputed company a ticketing environment used and governed by multiple internal reputed company reputed company service owners and teams
• Document activities and build/modify Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• reputed company organized cabling, labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber/copper/telecom links
• Install, repair, and maintain reputed company power supplies and cabling

Requirements:

• Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware
• Strong interest in learning new data center concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Shift schedule (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays
• 3+ years of experience working in an IT environment
• Experience troubleshooting issues on servers, networking devices, and IT equipment
• Inventory management experience, including ordering, receiving, and delivering server parts
• Experience receiving on-call shifts and ability to respond to critical events as needed
• Experience escalating issues to Sr. on-site staff and management on a case-by-case reputed company
• IT Equipment Concepts knowledge (reputed company, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB)
• Knowledge of trunking infrastructure is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year or 4-year degree or 3+ years of experience
• 1 year+ experience in Structured Cabling Copper/Fiber, testing of cables, Cooling and Electrical systems concepts reputed company the data center
