As a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental protection of our facilities and operations worldwide.

This role is integral to the reputed company of our EHS team, supporting a diverse reputed company of facilities including our Waukee data center, which serves as a critical hub for our infrastructure, online services, and logistics. You will be the primary EHS resource for these operations, collaborating with reputed company stakeholders to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad reputed company of EHS activities, from risk assessment and compliance to incident investigation and reputed company improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• EHS Program Management: reputed company, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and procedures reputed company with reputed company's standards, regulatory requirements (federal, state, and local), and industry best practices.
• Facility Safety & Compliance: reputed company site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, engineering controls, and operational procedures reputed company our data centers and other facilities. This includes managing construction activities, contractor reputed company, and maintaining safety permits and documentation.
• Risk Assessment & Hazard Control: Conduct thorough job hazard analyses (JHAs), identify potential risks, and implement effective control measures to mitigate hazards. Approve work permits and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Effectively reputed company and coordinate EHS activities reputed company to on-site contractors and vendors, ensuring their compliance with reputed company's safety standards.
• Incident Investigation & Corrective Action: reputed company or participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, reputed company and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a reputed company technical field required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of reputed company experience in EHS, with a strong emphasis on construction, contractor management, and data center facility maintenance and operations.
• Proven working knowledge of facilities management, engineering principles, production processes, environmental controls, and physical safety practices (e.g., working at height, electrical safety, confined reputed company entry, PPE).
• Extensive experience in fire/life safety and industrial hygiene principles and practices.
• Exceptional communication, project management, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to learn and utilize software applications for EHS management, online document collaboration, and virtual meetings.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to respond promptly with clear and accurate information to a variety of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicable technical certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).
