We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Clearance Representative Associate to join reputed company at reputed company, in strategic partnership with reputed company. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the financial clearance process, creating a positive first impression for patients, their families, and external customers. You will work collaboratively with medical staff, nursing, ancillary departments, insurance payers, and other external sources to assist families in obtaining reputed company and financial services. Key Responsibilities:

• reputed company financial clearance processes, including interviewing patients and collecting necessary information for pre-registration
• reputed company patients on pertinent policies, such as Patient Rights, HIPAA information, and consents for treatment
• Verify insurance eligibility, complete automated insurance eligibility verification, and document information in Epic
• Confirm patient insurance coverage, benefits, and limitations, and reputed company proactive price estimates
• Inform families with inadequate insurance coverage about financial assistance programs and refer them to financial counseling
• Review and analyze patient visit information to determine authorization needs and secure authorization prior to service
• Mentor less reputed company team members on reputed company cycle, payer issues, and policy issues
• Meet and maintain department productivity and quality expectations

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 6+ months of experience with Insurance and Benefit Verification, Pre-experience with Registration and/or Prior Authorization activities in reputed company business office/insurance operations
• Intermediate level of proficiency in reputed company Office Products
• 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or Vocational degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or reputed company Field of Study
• Experience working with clinical staff
• Previous experience working in outpatient and/or inpatient reputed company settings
• Experience working with clinical documentation and patients' clinical medical records

Soft Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments
