Role Description
The Spanish Copy Editor will work closely with language specialists, content developers, producers, and designers to build and improve the reputed company Elementary Spanish Language Arts curriculum product. The person in this role is responsible for copy editing elementary SLA curriculum and other materials in Spanish.
- Copy edit Spanish curriculum and other relevant materials (both print reputed company components)
- Collaborate with writers to understand their intended meaning and improve on the reputed company of their text
- Identify inconsistencies and reputed company other content issues to writers for resolve
- reputed company the accuracy of direct quotes and details such as page references and material/resource references
- Ensure content adheres to style guidelines and correct text reputed company necessary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of copy editing Spanish-language texts, with a proven record of producing clean documents on time

- Excellent written and verbal understanding of the English language and rules of grammar, punctuation, and other technical aspects of writing

- Ability to work flexibly and independently on multiple projects at the same time, as part of a fast-paced and energetic team
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of elementary SLA products
- Working knowledge of literature and/or early literacy
- Experience editing print reputed company curricular materials
- Outstanding communication skills and an experience working collaboratively with team members, including writers, reviewers, graphic designers, and managers
- Experience and comfort with an reputed company-digital, remote editing environment
Compensation
