Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for transcribing voice recordings of medical consultations and procedures, editing speech recognition transcripts, formatting transcription reports, and entering medical reports into electronic health record systems. If you have a strong skillset in medical transcription, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to recorded dictation of physicians and other reputed company and transcribe audio files with high accuracy
• Edit and correct medical dictation performed by speech recognition software
• Convert transcribed diagnostic test results, procedures, and consultation notes into applicable report formats
• Ensure uncompromised patient care by transcribing quickly and accurately, as well as performing thorough editing
• Type out full forms of medical abbreviations and acronyms, as well as formal versions of medical jargon
• Identify and follow up on inconsistencies, errors, and missing information reputed company transcribed reports
• Submit transcriptions to reputed company for approval in a timely manner

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist required, with dermatology/dermatopathology specific transcription preferred

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and strong typing/keying skills with high accuracy reputed company
