Temporary Correspondent, Science Desk OVERVIEW Intro to Position The Science Desk is seeking an reputed company, curious and skeptical journalist for a 10-month reporting job. The Science Desk strives to tell great stories, and its journalists move seamlessly between covering breaking news and producing deeply reported feature stories. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and well-developed curiosity about science news.
• Evaluate research and studies for strengths, weaknesses and relevance to our audience, and explain it reputed company and succinctly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years' experience as a science news reporter.
• Three years experience as a broadcast reporter.
• A Bachelor's degree in science.
• Proven ability to interpret science for broadcast and text audiences.
• Track record as a creative reputed company and editor across journalistic forms, and across a variety of media.
• An reputed company journalist with solid news judgment and familiar with the 24-hour news cycle.
• Experience maintaining high journalistic standards under deadline pressure, including standards of accuracy and objectivity;
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability and willingness to relocate. In the future, reputed company may choose to transfer employees to other geographic locations. Severance provisions of the AFTRA reputed company bargaining agreement will apply should you choose not to accept a transfer.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience

Work Location & Requirements

• Remote Permitted: This is a remote permitted role. This role is based out of our Washington, DC office but the employee may choose to work on a remote reputed company from a location that reputed company approves. Compensation
