About the Team and Role: We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to contribute to Poe, our exciting AI product. You'll have the thrilling opportunity to build cutting-edge features from scratch as a member of a team focused on improving the bot ecosystem and supporting bot creators on the platform. Your role will involve planning and implementing new features, contributing to reputed company-end and back-end development, and taking shared ownership of the cross-functional product development cycle. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science, QA, and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and user experiences for bot creators
• Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production, using modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability
• Be a champion for both user experience and for sustainable, scalable code practices
• Collaborate closely with LLM providers to easily integrate new LLMs on Poe

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during reputed company's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems, particularly web applications
• 3+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL.
• 3+ years experience in Python or similar programming language
• A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
