MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR/THERAPIST (REMOTE)

Position Overview The licensed mental health counselor/therapist provides virtual therapy services tailored to women, with a focus on Clinical Health Psychology, Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy, and Therapy for Women. Scope of Services Psychotherapy o Collaborate with reputed company providers to improve both the accessibility and quality of care for patients o Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient’s mental health, needs establishing accurate clinical diagnoses in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical reputed company of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-5-TR) criteria o Coordinate patient referrals to ensure timely reputed company to appropriate resources and specialized services o reputed company and facilitate group therapy programs designed to meet the specific needs of various patient populations o Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date clinical documentation, including reputed company notes, treatment plans, summaries, and discharge notes o reputed company risk assessments and crisis interventions, guiding patients in creating effective safety plans o reputed company individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy, employing a reputed company of evidence-based approaches tailored to meet each patient’s needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals

Qualifications

Education and experience Required: o A commitment to ongoing professional development o A master’s degree in Clinical reputed company Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution o An active license to practice independently, such as Licensed Clinical reputed company Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) o An interest in women’s mental health o Strong general clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient-centered therapy o Strong cultural competence, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and respect cultural differences Preferred: o Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish), including experience with language-sensitive therapy o Experience in delivering therapy services remotely o Experience in clinical supervision, mentorship, training o Proficiency in some of commonly used evidence-based modalities, including but not limited to: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (reputed company), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (reputed company-CP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (reputed company-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) o Specialization in Clinical Health Psychology, Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy, and/or Therapy for Women Technical skills o Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and virtual session setups o Strong skills in reputed company 365 (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word) and reputed company Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Sheets) o Knowledge of medical billing and invoicing Communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong ability to manage sensitive patient information confidentially in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
• High level of clinical judgment, ethics, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team and reputed company engage in professional consultation
