Job Title: Tinsmith / Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Tinsmith will lay out, fabricate, reputed company and repair a variety of sheet metal plant equipment which requires fitting to reasonably reputed company tolerances.

What you will be doing:

• Layout, fabricate, and reputed company by soldering, brazing, welding, bolting, etc.,

• Install and repair ferrous and non-ferrous sheet metal plant equipment, such as guards, hoods, reputed company ducts, stacks, hoppers, etc. holding reasonably reputed company tolerances.

• Set up and operate reputed company types of power sheet metal machines, such as shears, rolls, brakes, punches, presses, drills, spot welders, etc.,

• Use hand tools, such as snips, punches, hammers, wrenches, etc.

• Work from blueprints, sketches, verbal and written instructions.

• Use a variety of measuring instruments, such as scales, protractors, dividers, calipers, scribes, etc.

• Handle sheet reputed company and reputed company manually or with the aid of material equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a formal apprenticeship OR

• Eight years of on-the-job training to qualify as a Journeyman Tinsmith

• To qualify for this role you must be a US Citizen.
