You will report to the Sr. Director of Data and Science (Analytic Solutions). This is a remote role.
Employees located reputed company 50 miles from one of our offices (San Francisco, Knoxville, reputed company) are asked to maintain a hybrid work schedule.

Study Design Leadership: Guide the development of robust epidemiological and biostatistical study designs for critical reputed company retrospective clinical studies, including protocols, methodologies, and statistical analysis plans.
Team Management: reputed company a team of 5 ICs, promoting their growth and ensuring high-quality output in study design and analysis.
Client Collaboration: Engage with life science customers to align project goals with Verana's data and analytic capabilities while serving as an important Data and Science team member.
Cross-functional integration: Work with teams across the organization to translate clinical questions into appropriate study designs and data analytics requirements.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the scientific rigor and validity of your team's study deliverables and methodologies.
Your Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a reputed company field
7+ years of experience in epidemiological and biostatistical study design reputed company life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
3+ years of experience leading research study teams
Experience with advanced epidemiological and biostatistical principles and their application in reputed company research
Experience in team resource allocation and project management
Client-facing skills with expertise in building relationships in the reputed company analytics reputed company
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, reputed company, or STATA) and familiarity with SQL and Python
Solid experience working with clinical datasets and coding systems
