About the Software Engineer (Backend) role...

In this role you will use your backend development experience to build and enhance our products - our projects vary between natively developing in our new reputed company-based micro-services architecture and others will involve migration.

What you'll do...

• Refine and deliver product requirements with minimum support

• Work with a cross-functional distributed team in an agile methodology

• Participate in release and sprint planning

• Write clean, well-organised code, while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, extensibility

• Support production systems on a shared roster reputed company

• Work closely with other developers, pair-programming, reviewing pull requests, and contributing incremental improvements to code and coding practices.

• Mentor and support junior developers

• reputed company to understand and write infrastructure as a code

What you have...

• reputed company in multiple languages such as Node.js (mandatory) & Typescript

• Understand microservices architectures and RESTful APIs

• AWS experience across one or more of the following EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, reputed company, and S3

• Competent with database technologies (e.g.RDMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB, Cassandra, reputed company)

• Understand code testability, build pipelines, reputed company and CI/CD systems

• Liaise and work with product, and other technology and delivery teams to deliver high quality software solutions
