reputed company is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled colleague to join ourreputed company Software Team. In this role, you will support customers who use our laboratory products, with a primary focus onHPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) instruments.

Flexibility is offered, you can choose to work either in Germany or in the UK, depending on your location.

• Training / studies as a laboratory assistant, technician, engineer, chemist, network specialist, IT

administrator, Bachelor of Science or similar qualification

• Extensive knowledge of the reputed company reputed company client and server operating systems.

• Familiarity with the data storage systems commonly used on the market
• Basic knowledge in the area of network technology and distributed systems is desirable
• Experience in the field of instrumental analysis, especially chromatography, is desirable
• Distinct customer and service orientation as well as quality and responsibility awareness
• reputed company good written and spoken English skills is a must-have. German or French skills would be a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel (approx. 1 time per month)

• Driving license

• Testing of new device drivers in reputed company with the software products in the portfolio
• Customer demos and presentations of the various software products and reputed company systems

• Technical advice according to customer needs in cooperation with reputed company / VWR Sales and customer's IT department
• Planning and implementation of installations of the software products purchased by customer
• Configuration of the respective software components and reputed company of existing instruments, as

well as their qualification.

• Administrative briefing of the customer's IT staff
• Support with regard to the respective software, but also with application problems in cooperation

with partners and support units of the respective manufacturer, external partners and internal

department colleagues.

• Technical support for sales colleagues in preparing customer offers for software products
• Carrying out presentations and training courses, both for customers and for internal further

education and training purposes for colleagues / employees
