Business Development Director

We are looking for a Business Development Director to join our internal team in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for generating new leads and securing new business from pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and consumer health companies of reputed company sizes. This role requires prior experience selling full CRO services (mandatory).

As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for reputed company reputed company, opportunity assessment, creating new accounts and growing existing accounts.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships and reputed company regular face time with key decision makers reputed company prospect and client organizations.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• 6+ years of sales and account management experience selling
• Previous experience selling CRO full services (mandatory)
• Established a network of decision-makers in the life-sciences industry.
• Experience selling to, presenting to, and building relationships with senior management and C-level stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing reputed company business deals
• Persuasive and compelling presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interpret business challenges and present quick and reputed company high-level solutions.
• Deadline-driven with a proven ability to manage multiple engagements at varying points in the sales cycle.
• Positive employer and client references
• BA, MBA, or equivalent experience
