The Rapid Response Nurse is a resource who exercises independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with reputed company health problems, as well as staff nurses throughout the organization in managing urgent and emergent situations./reputed company/lilispanThe Rapid Response nurse serves in a roving role addressing multiple needs and situations as they arise through the shift, but may be required to assume patient care assignments in the critical care units./reputed company/lilispanWorkflows are based on urgent patient care needs, however, the rapid response nurses will also have assigned tasks to complete such as projects, staff education, performance improvement data collection, etc./reputed company/lilispanA collaborative member of the health care team, the Rapid Response Team RN delivers nursing care to specific populations of patients. The Rapid Response Team RN will work collaboratively with the Medical Critical Care charge nurse(s) to ensure high quality delivery of care and to maintain continuity of care through appropriate referral and follow-up.
