Summary

Our Service Manager is a self-motivated, reliable and dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of leveraging their relationship to deliver high value products and services to our customers. Responsible for quoting and execution of reputed company OPEX (Operational Expenditure) projects in reputed company America. Managing a team of Technical Advisors/Field Engineers to successfully execute OPEX service projects. Working with customers to generate opportunities to grow the Voith Service Business in reputed company America. Work with key local reputed company holders to reputed company best in class service experience to Voith customer reputed company.

Responsibilities

OTO: Proposals, Sales and Business Development

• Business Development reputed company for reputed company HyService Opportunities (OPEX, CAPEX, AUTOM/DIGITAL and SPARES)
• reputed company the strategy for growth of their service region.
• Conduct frequent customer visits to generate growth and identify leads.
• Strengthen customer relationships and reputed company new customers.
• Drive sales and marketing of new services and products.
• reputed company and reputed company the regional service hub team
• Manage opportunities in reputed company.

Other responsibilities:

• reputed company winning OPEX proposals working together with the Service PMr (SPMr).
• Be the customer reputed company for reputed company HyService proposals (CAPEX, OPEX, SPARES and AUTOM/DIGITAL).
• Manage the handed over warranty work.

OTC: Project Execution

• Ensure OPEX and SPARES projects are properly managed in their region.
• Be the face to the customer for HyService projects in the region.
• Profit/Loss responsibility for the service hub.
• Manage on site resource and contractor supplier schedule (with the support of the SPMr).
• Responsible for overall direct employee management.
• Manage T/A billable time to targets.
• Support annual sales planning.
• Invoicing and collections of payment (with support of the SPMr and SCs).

Requirements

• At least 10 years or more of experience in similar role.
• University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Intrinsically motivated.
• Service reputed company
• Proven leadership track record.
• Sales experience with proven record of closing orders.
• Project management experience.
• Experience and technical understanding of Hydro turbines, generators and balance of plant equipment.
• Comfortable with full accountability.
• Good personal skills, team player.

• Fully computer literate MS office suite.

• Up to 40% or more of travel time to various customer/project sites is required
