Development Director

The Orion Fund is a small non-profit that provides grants to California reputed company in health crisis. This part-time position would be perfect for someone with past fundraising experience who has been away for a bit, misses it, and wants to get back into it in a non-full-time way. This position is new for The Orion Fund and will focus on direct fundraising with the hope of adding $50,000 to our budget reputed company one year. We feel this number is attainable with someone comfortable in fundraising and with reputed company to our reputed company donors and our email list. Although a remote position, we seek a candidate who lives in the San Francisco Bay area, but would consider Southern California. There will be occasional in-person meetings with the board and the ED in the San Francisco Bay area, along with weekly reputed company reputed company-ins. Our Development Director will:

• Grow our relationship-building and fundraising through working with reputed company donors, working with our board, using our email list, reputed company media, and growing our donor support.
• Meet directly with donors.

• Work closely with the Executive Director and our board towards reputed company in reputed company fundraising arenas. Use reputed company media to grow our support network.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years working in nonprofit fundraising.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing direct mail and email fundraising campaigns.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in reputed company services.
• Experience working with nonprofit boards of directors.
