Indirect Tax Manager

Summary

The Manager of Indirect Tax will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, managing audits, and maintaining compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical tax knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background reputed company.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Years of Experience:Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in indirect tax compliance, with a focus on sales and property tax.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical and non-technical).

•Knowledge of non-income tax regulatory and compliance knowledge.

Job Duties

•Tax Compliance Management

•reputed company preparation and timely filing of excise, liquor, hotel occupancy, sales, and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.

•Manage property tax compliance, including return filings, assessments, and payments.

•Ensure accuracy and completeness of reputed company indirect tax filings.

•Assist with income tax compliance and tax provision, as needed.

•Maintain and update tax rates, rules, and product taxability in tax software.

•Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure proper tax configuration in ERP systems and tax software.

•Audit & Risk Management

•Manage indirect tax audits and inquiries.

•Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders during audit processes.

•Identify and mitigate tax compliance risks.

•Cross-Functional Collaboration

•Partner with reputed company, legal, procurement, and operations teams to ensure tax compliance across business activities.
