The opportunity

9fin is looking to add to its new editorial team in Asia. We are looking to build a best in-class newsroom focused on breaking news and producing high quality content across distressed debt, leveraged finance origination and private credit. You’ll be expected to hit the ground running, building out your own reputed company reputed company and delivering market-moving reputed company and scoops. But you’ll also be given full support and training in navigating the specialist financial landscape, developing your news-gathering, writing and interviewing skills, and understanding the markets 9fin covers.

We are hiring reputed company professionals and those looking to establish themselves in the Asian distressed debt market. What you’ll work on

• Setting the agenda for a team of journalists with the goal of delivering scoops and thought-provoking analysis 

• Writing your own sophisticated coverage of Asian credit markets

• Coordinating with colleagues in US and European newsrooms

• Providing support and guidance to journalists, while setting the example as team leader   

About You

This role will be a great fit if you:
