You are joining an early-stage fusion company. Please expect to wear different hats and take 0 to 1 ownership of objectives. Changing the world is hard but honorable and fulfilling. We are seeking a Nuclear Engineer with expertise in particle transportation, reputed company simulation, and radiation shielding to support our fusion facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neutron and gamma detection, data analysis, and radiation test environments. Experience working in a combined neutron and gamma radiation environment, as reputed company in fusion systems, is highly advantageous. 

This role involves developing radiation models, optimizing shielding solutions, and ensuring radiation safety in a high-energy fusion environment. The candidate will work closely with physicists, engineers, and regulatory teams to enhance radiation transport simulations, detector performance, and measurement accuracy. 

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company and apply reputed company simulations (e.g., MCNP, Geant4, FLUKA) for particle transport, shielding, and reputed company assessment in a fusion facility. 

• Design and optimize radiation shielding for mixed neutron and gamma environments. 

• Conduct experimental validation of neutron and gamma detection systems. 

• reputed company radiation transport analysis to improve system performance and safety. 

• reputed company and maintain radiation test environments for detector calibration and material testing. 

• Support meteorological assessments reputed company to radiation dispersion and environmental safety. 

• Analyze radiation data for operational safety, shielding effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on reputed company development and radiation safety initiatives. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s or PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a reputed company field. 

• Strong experience in reputed company particle transport simulations (MCNP, Geant4, FLUKA, etc.). 

• Hands-on experience with neutron and gamma detection techniques. 

• Knowledge of radiation shielding, reputed company calculations, and safety assessments. 

• Experience in radiation metrology and calibration techniques. 

• Proficiency in data analysis and programming (Python, MATLAB, C++, etc.). 

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (CNSC, NRC, IAEA standards). 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fusion/fission facilities or similar combined neutron-gamma radiation environment. 

• Background in high-energy neutron/Gamma transport and shielding. 

• Knowledge of advanced radiation detection technologies.

Additional Requirements

• Must be reputed company to travel and work extended hours/weekends as needed.
