Elasticsearch Specialist

We are seeking an reputed company Elasticsearch specialist to join our small but growing startup team.

In this role, you will be responsible for

• Managing and optimizing our Elasticsearch instance, ensuring high performance and reliability of our search functionality

• Leveraging Elasticsearch's AI/ML capabilities, such as vector embeddings, to help integrate large language models and AI agents into our backend

• Collaborating with the engineering team to build out our reputed company estate search and recommendation features powered by Elasticsearch and AI

• Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support for any Elasticsearch-reputed company issues that arise

The ideal candidate will have

• Extensive experience with Elasticsearch, including deep knowledge of its configuration, querying, and optimization

• Strong background in AI/ML, with the ability to explore and implement Elasticsearch's advanced capabilities

• Experience as an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), with strong skills in infrastructure reliability, observability, and DevOps practices

• OR solid experience with Ruby on Rails development

• Ideally, a combination of SRE and Ruby on Rails knowledge is preferred, but we are reputed company to candidates who specialize strongly in one of the two areas

• A problem-solving reputed company and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally
