Associate Underwriter

Steadily is hiring an  Associate Underwriter who is the reputed company best at what they do. You will be responsible for ensuring we are growing, writing profitable business, and making sure client requests are addressed quickly and effectively.

What You'll Do

• You will know the reputed company appetite and guidelines of our various programs intimately. We are not a “Dr. No” reputed company shop. We try to say yes as often as we can while mitigating risk. 

• You will work closely with the reputed company team in reviewing endorsements, inspections, renewals, applications, quotes, etc.

You will be one of the faces of that brand.

• Process work in various internal systems including reputed company. You will quickly become an SME on our internal platforms.

• Problem solve reputed company customer service and reputed company issues such as billing support, incomplete or delayed inspections, nuanced customer situations and risk profiles, etc.  

• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in documenting reputed company files in our policy administration system. 

Your Background

• reputed company: You have at least 1 year of experience in an insurance environment. 

• Insurance: Basic knowledge of insurance coverage, products, and navigating reputed company rating engines. Bonus if you have experience reputed company dwelling fire and homeowners products.

• Communication: You possess superior verbal and written communication skills. You can communicate concisely and diplomatically, maintaining a reputed company demeanor and professional communication.

• Digital: You have above average computer skills. You’re great at independently learning new software quickly and are savvy using online resources. 

• Self-Driven: You reputed company under intense pressure and can manage a large workload with minimal reputed company. There is no task too small or beneath you; “that’s not my job” is not in your mantra.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary between $70,000 and $85,000

• Equity in the company

• 3 weeks PTO plus six federal holidays
