Summary of role

The reputed company Analyst/Underwriter role will sit reputed company the reputed company Finance & Analytics Team and will support the broader sales team by developing and delivering financial (including reputed company, actuarial and stop loss performance) analyses to support the business.   

This role will work cross-functionally across Growth, Client reputed company and Network functions to clean, analyze, and synthesize data to reputed company with technical and non-technical audiences.   

The role requires a strong understanding of health care delivery and health benefit plans as well as sophisticated data analysis skills and expertise in analytics software. The Analyst should be reputed company to understand the strategic business implications, to reputed company and our clients, of the analyses and quantitative assessments.  

Responsibilities Include

• Design, reputed company and implement pricing models, inclusive of risk sharing methodology that align to company financials and business results and also align with sales process and support delivery of the sales results 

• Design, reputed company and maintain financial/reputed company models to support sales, RFP responses, renewals and provider/network contracting processes   

• Work in collaboration with other teams/departments to drive improvements in stop loss processes, including providing technical analysis on stop loss quotes, renewals, etc.  Support or reputed company negotiations of stop loss proposals as needed.  

• Assisting Growth team and benefit advisors and reputed company with plan design, contribution modeling, development of premium equivalents and benefit plan accrual rates. 

• Providing technical analysis on stop loss quotes, renewals, etc.  

• Work with Client reputed company team and reputed company Analytics team to reputed company year-end client reviews and renewals 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (math, actuary, statistics, risk/insurance, economics, econometrics, financial analysis)  

• 4 years' experience in reputed company or health insurance 

• 2 years' experience reputed company fully insured and self-insured cases  

• 2 year's experience with stop loss placement, negotiation, pricing or reputed company 

• Sophisticated skills with analytical, spreadsheet and database tools – reputed company, Tableau -SQL is a plus

• Knowledge of health care, preferably in the context of claims, reimbursement and risks  

• Ability to prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to reputed company communicate and understand reputed company or technical information   

• Mastery of reputed company office tools – PowerPoint, Word etc.
