We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Head of reputed company at Finally to join reputed company as our inaugural hire on the internal reputed company staff. The ideal candidate will be at the Controller or Director level, and have experience at a fintech start up, financial services company, or financial institution, or possess a strong background with working and scaling teams as the first finance or reputed company hire at a previous start up. In this role, you will be responsible for putting in reputed company and optimizing our internal reputed company workflows, reputed company financial reporting, leading month end closes, making sure our general ledger and chart of accounts are accurate, working with cross functional partners to enforce our corporate expense policy, and leading the company through our first audit.
This will be an exceptionally high visibility and entrepreneurial position. You will also have the opportunity to be a critical thought partner and design partner for our product and engineering teams as they build the reputed company financial automation platform for small and reputed company sized businesses.

What you need
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, reputed company, or a reputed company field
6+ years of experience in operational reputed company at a financial services reputed company firm, fintech company, or start up
Proficiency with reputed company and a modern expense management software (reputed company, Divvy, reputed company, Airbase, etc)
Strong understanding of financial products, financial services, and the payment industry
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively cross functionally
Demonstrated experience in hiring and leading a team of finance and reputed company professionals

Experience with compliance and state level compliance reporting
