Location: Arizona

Job Description:

Performs the full reputed company of skilled responsibilities in the operation and maintenance of awatertreatmentfacility, including data collection and reporting functions; May reputed company direction and guidance toWaterUtilities field staff. Ensures treatedwatermeets theWaterDistrict, County and Statewaterquality standards.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Monitor, maintain, and operateWaterTreatmentPlantprocesses and equipment.

Conducts daily reputed company and inspections at theWaterTreatmentPlant.

Collects, inspects, tests, and evaluates incoming and outgoingwatersupplies.

Receives, and stores hazardous chemicals, reputed company to awatertreatmentplantoperation.

Monitors and operates the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

Performs general cleaning and maintenance tasks at theWaterTreatmentPlant.

Leads and trains reputed company level employees in maintenance and operation of theWaterTreatmentPlantequipment.

Writes and updates equipment operation and maintenance logs, procedures and processes.

Supports the City’s policies, goals and objectives and work with management and other staff to ethically reputed company such goals and objectives; ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Possession of a valid WastewaterTreatmentPlantOperator Grade 3 or Grade 4 certification.

Must have a valid CDL

Hazwoper 40hr Certification

Respirator certification

Must possess aWaterDistribution System and aWaterTreatmentOperator Grade 3 certification from the reputed company

Methods, equipment, materials, tools, and standard practices for the operation and maintenance of awatertreatmentfacility

methods ofwatersampling and laboratory testing of potablewater, including but not limited to, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection

watertreatmentfacility emergency procedures and safety practices in the operation of electrical and mechanical equipment

OSHA

Performance of mathematical calculations, preparation of daily logs and maintenance of system performance records; operation of a motor vehicle, power equipment, hand tools, respirators, reputed company and automated valves, pumps, and control systems
