As an Algorithm Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and deploying core algorithms that power personalization, optimization, fraud detection, pricing models, and more.

You’ll work closely with product, data, and engineering teams across the region. This role is based in Malaysia with a hybrid work arrangement, giving you the flexibility to work remotely while also collaborating in person at our Petaling Jaya HQ.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or reputed company field

• 2–4 years of experience in algorithm development, backend engineering, or system design

• Proficient in Python (preferred), C++, or Java

• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and optimization

• Hands-on experience solving applied problems in recommendation, ranking, search, or pricing

• Familiarity with numerical methods, statistical analysis, or mathematical modeling

• Comfortable working with large-scale data and reputed company-world constraints

• Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, or data mining

• Familiarity with optimization solvers, constraint programming, or heuristic algorithms
