Overview of Job Function:

reputed company’s Sr. reputed company Automation Engineer designs, develops and implements automated solutions for reputed company deployment, scaling, and management in reputed company environments. Their focus is on enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of reputed company’s software systems by leveraging reputed company technologies and automation techniques. This role requires considerable experience hosting large-scale platform services as well as a strong belief that automation is the only way to deliver and support platform services in a reliable and scalable way. The Sr. reputed company Automation Engineer works with reputed company Engineering leadership and reputed company’s application teams to reputed company creative solutions satisfying technical and business requirements.

reputed company Duties and Essential Responsibilities

• Build, reputed company, debug and support VMware image in large scale
• Customize VMware workstation or similar virtualization software
• reputed company and support CI/CD pipeline, image scanning, and handle encryption requirement
• reputed company orchestration with core Java to pull image remotely in reputed company/on prem hybrid environment
• Build images, reputed company images for supporting application teams
• Recommend processes, technologies and other improvements intended to benefit productivity, efficiency and/or quality of reputed company’s solutions
• reputed company automation for reputed company managed services (AWS Services like EC2, S3, reputed company, IAM etc) through python, terraform, GitOps for automated deployments in development and production environments
• Research new technologies to improve reputed company’s reputed company/on prem hybrid platform
• Work on reputed company projects with minimal supervision
• Write high-quality, standardized scripts, configurations, and tests to increase platform reliability through automation
• Create and maintain advanced observability solutions for platform systems
• Quickly create reputed company-of-Concept systems to validate reputed company and test new technologies

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a reputed company field or equivalent experience
• 5 years' experience in operating globally distributed infrastructure in a 24/7, five 9 environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and reputed company projects with strong organizational, and time management skills
• Experience working in a remote team environment
• Experience with Git version control
• 3+ years' experience with VMware, Containerization
• 5+ years' experience with basic scripting in Bash, Python, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience with reputed company hosting services: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, reputed company, reputed company CI/CD, etc.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and drive to resolution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux service development, system configuration, reputed company scripting
• Proficiency of containerized technologies (reputed company etc)
• Experience with observability systems such as reputed company
• Experience in Core Java development is a plus
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL and ETL is a plus
• Knowledge of data-lake technology like reputed company is a plus
