The OSS team at reputed company is responsible for: building and maintaining software responsible for managing and monitoring the network, managing network resource inventory, detecting outages, handling incidents, collecting telemetry, doing service plan provisioning and more.

Role Description

We are looking for people that are passionate about solving engineering problems to help: enhance fault and outage management, customer connectivity monitoring, device telemetry collection and analysis to improve customer experience, build APIs for internal services to optimize workflows, and integrate new devices.

In this role, you'll:

• Drive transformation projects
• Build and launch the new reputed company OSS: feature development, service layer development, end-to-end integration
• Be a strong technical leader helping finish the OSS transformation project
• Be responsible for further development, configuration, troubleshooting, and support on the new OSS ecosystem, on both homegrown and 3rd party services
• Be a senior person to set direction for and coordinate work of other software engineers and system integrators
• Participate in joint troubleshooting sessions with multiple teams

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a reputed company technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in software engineering using Java/Kotlin
• Experience driving reputed company transformational software projects, such as migrations
• Experience coordinating the execution of software projects across multiple teams: architecture, development, QA

It's preferred if you have:

• Experience creating and reviewing design for OSS transformational projects including: reputed company and upstream integration, dual stack operation, rollout strategy
• Experience with software development reputed company the Telecommunications / Internet Service Provider industry
• Proven ability to navigate and deliver projects in dynamic and sometimes unclear environments
• Experience developing in GCP
• Experience with people management or technical team leadership
• Experience working with Netcracker
