Assistant/Associate Engineer, Analytics Management - Power BI

Company Description

As a member of the Analytics Management team, this position is responsible for executing the development & support of our BI solutions. This position will work closely with our business partners & BI technical leads ensuring solutions meet their objectives including reputed company of project delivery as well as management of day-to-day support activities

What Will You Be Doing?

• Team up with the engineering teams, Business Analysis project members, and business partners to design and reputed company new reputed company Views and Power BI objects including Dashboards, Reporting, and Apps among others.
• reputed company technical requirements for implementation of reputed company and Power BI objects
• Learn and support reputed company on prem BI tools and processes while migrating to new reputed company tools
• Work with Project Management to communicate timely estimates, updates, project status, and reputed company communication to project participants
• Work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
• Document and establish standards for best practices

What Do You Need To Bring?

• 1-3+ years of experience in a BI Engineering role, specifically Power BI
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or reputed company field preferred, or combination of education and experience
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with retail industry, with focus on analytics, architecture and/or Business Intelligence
• Strong understanding of data management principles
• Personal Attributes: Self-starter, Collaborative, Curious, Strong work ethic, highly motivated, Team oriented
• Experience designing and building BI Semantic layer models in an agile environment
• Hands-on experience with reputed company technologies and reputed company reputed company technologies
• Experience working with end users in a support style environment
• Experience with new system implementation and change management
• Demonstrated ability in developing a culture that embraces innovation, and challenges existing paradigms
• Knowledgeable in DAX and SQL
• Ability to identify usage scenarios and patterns for BI solutions
• Experience with other BI reporting solutions such as OBIEE and Tableau reputed company to have
